About
I have been a butcher, a baker, and a metallurgical engineer.
Through it all, I have always been an artist.
I studied Industrial Design at the Art Institute, trained in figure painting in Rome, and deepened my craft through printmaking and watercolor. But my biggest shift came in 2015, with the murder of Sandra Bland. Her death forced me to reckon with how compliance with unjust systems diverts resources from the alternatives we need. Over time, I realized my artistic practice could be a tool for liberation, a way to tell new stories of a flourishing world.
I believe in beauty—not as decoration, but as an invitation to relationship. A way to say “look here”. I find beauty in the architecture of insect wings and the curve of freeway overpasses. I see it in the courage of those who build new systems of care. And I believe what is beautiful in each of us blooms when we are seen.
Whether or not I am your designer, I hope you tell your story in a way that feels powerful to you. If you’re ready to bring your vision to life through design, let’s talk.
